eligibility criteria

Bank PO

1. Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India or subject of Nepal/Bhutan.

2. Age limit: The minimum age shall be 20 years and the maximum age shall be 30 years. However, age relaxation has been provided for certain groups like SC, ST, OBC and PWD.

3. Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

4. Computer Skills: Generally, basic knowledge of computer operations is required, as banks today make extensive use of computers for their operations.

5. Language Skills: Fluency in the language of the State/UT where the vacancy is advertised is essential.

Bank Clerk

1. Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India or subject of Nepal/Bhutan.

2. Age limit: The minimum age is usually 20 years and the maximum age will be 28 years. However, age relaxation has been provided for certain groups like SC, ST, OBC and PWD.

3. Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

4. Computer skills: Basic knowledge of computer operations is usually required, as banks use computers extensively for their operations.

5. Language Skills: Fluency in the language of the State/UT where the vacancy is advertised is essential.

SSC

1. Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India, citizens of Nepal/Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanent residence in India.

2. Age Limit: The minimum and maximum age limit varies depending on the candidate and the section for the particular SSC exam. Generally, the minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 27-32 years. Age relaxation is given to certain categories like SC, ST, OBC and PWD.

3. Educational Qualification: The educational qualifications are based on the specific SSC exam. For most exams, candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university.

4. Physical Standards: Some SSC exams, especially for recruitment in defense and paramilitary forces, may have specific physical standards that candidates must meet.

CUET

1. Nationality: Candidates must be Indians.

2. Age Limit: Generally, there is no specific age limit for applying to CUET.

3. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed or appeared in the final examination of 10+2 system or its equivalent from a recognized board or university. The specific minimum score required may vary depending on the university and the application process.

4. Specific qualifications: Some courses may have additional eligibility criteria, such as specific courses studied at qualification level, work experience and so on.

UGC NET

1. Nationality: Candidates must be Indians. However, candidates from Nepal, Bhutan and other countries may also be eligible under certain circumstances.

2. Age limit: There is no age limit for appearing in UGC NET exam. However, the minimum age limit for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is 30 years and there is no age limit for Assistant Professor.

3. Educational Qualifications:

--> For Assistant Professor: Candidates should possess a Masters Degree or equivalent from a recognized University with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for OBC/SC/ST/PwD candidates).

--> For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): Candidates should possess Masters Degree or equivalent from a recognized University with minimum aggregate of 55% (50% for OBC/SC/ST/PwD candidates). Those who have completed their Masters degree or are awaiting results can also apply.

4. Relaxation: Relaxation in marks and age limit has been provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Transgender) and those having research experience, as per UGC guidelines .

JKSET

1. Nationality: Candidates must be Indians.

2. Age Restriction: Normally, there is no age limit for appearing in JKSET exam. 3. Educational Qualifications:

--> Candidates must have a master's degree or equivalent from a recognized university with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for OBC/SC/ST/PwD candidates).

--> Candidates who are pursuing their master's degree or awaiting their results can also apply, provided they fulfill other eligibility criteria within the specified time frame.

4. Relaxation: Candidates belonging to reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST/PwD) are given relaxation in marks and age limit as per norms prescribed by the concerned authorities.

JKPSC KAS

1. Nationality: Candidates must be Indians.

2. Age limit: The minimum age shall be 21 years and the maximum age shall be 32 years. However, age relaxation has been provided to certain groups, such as SC, ST, ST, OBC, etc. as per official norms.

3. Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University. Moreover, final year graduation examination candidates are also eligible to apply.

4. Conditions: Candidates must be permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir, Union Territory as defined in the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir.

CTET

1. Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens. However, candidates from Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet can also be eligible, subject to certain conditions.

2. Educational Qualifications:

a. In the elementary stage (grades I–V):

--> Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks. Candidates in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or appearing in the final year of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or equivalent are also eligible.

--> Or candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), as per NCTE Act 2002,.

--> Candidates must have passed senior secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and have completed or been in the final year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).

b. For the special section (classes VI–VIII):

--> Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates appearing in the final year of Diploma in Primary Education (D.El.Ed.) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent are also eligible.

--> Or Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 45% and must have completed or be in the final year of a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.). or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) ., as per NCTE Rules 2002 .

--> Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% and must have completed or attended the final year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El. Ed.) in the.

--> Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% and have completed or attended a two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

3. Relaxation: Relaxation in marks and qualification may be applicable to candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD), as per government rules.

JKSSB

1. Nationality: Candidates must be Indians.

2. Status: Candidates must be permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir or Ladakh, Union Territory, as defined in the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir.
