SSC_CHSL

The SSC CHSL examination is conducted to recruit candidates for various Group C posts in ministries, departments, and organizations of the Government of India. The posts primarily include Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA), Sorting Assistant (SA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO).

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their 10+2 (12th standard) examination or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.

Age Limit: The age limit for SSC CHSL is usually between 18 and 27 years. Age relaxation is provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms.

Tiers of Examination:

The SSC CHSL examination is conducted in three tiers:

Tier-I: Computer-Based Examination (Objective Type)

Tier-II: Descriptive Paper (Pen and Paper mode)

Tier-III: Skill Test/Typing Test (where applicable)

Syllabus and Subjects:

The syllabus for SSC CHSL includes subjects such as:

Tier-I: English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness

Tier-II: Essay Writing/Letter Writing/Application Writing

Tier-III: Typing Test/Skill Test Examination Pattern: Tier-I consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), while Tier-II is a descriptive paper where candidates have to write essays, letters, or applications. Tier-III involves skill tests or typing tests, depending on the post applied for.

Selection Process:

Candidates are required to clear all three tiers of the examination to be considered for selection. The final merit is prepared based on the candidate's performance in Tier-I and Tier-II examinations. Tier-III is qualifying in nature.
